As a vegan do you miss eating cheese? Are you interested in creating flavours of vegan cheese that you can’t buy in the shops? This course will teach you how to make your own delicious dairy-free cheese at home.
I am delighted to welcome guest tutor Andrea Wolstenholme of the Vegan Cheese Lovers Club, to teach you all about the art of vegan cheese making.
The day is a mixture of step-by-step demonstration and practical hands on cookery, with plenty of time to sample the results. We will learn how to make cheese using a cooked method which gives a meltable, gratable, firm cheese. We will also explore making cheeses with a food processor using ingredients such as nuts and tofu.You will also take home a selection of the cheeses we make along with recipes.
